Terms of Service

1. Overview and Acceptance

Welcome to HumanizePhoto (humanizephoto.com). By creating an account, uploading an image, or purchasing credits or subscriptions, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Content Policy, and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service Scope and Honest Product Boundaries

HumanizePhoto is an image post-processing tool designed to improve the visual naturalness of AI-generated images (such as softening plastic skin sheen, harsh lighting halos, and synthetic surface gloss while preserving framing and composition).

• No AI Detector Evasion Guarantee: HumanizePhoto only refines visual appearance. We do not offer AI detector evasion, and we never promise or guarantee that processed images will pass any third-party AI detection tool or become undetectable.
• Provenance and Metadata Integrity: We do not provide tools to strip, forge, or tamper with digital provenance credentials or watermarks (such as C2PA metadata or SynthID).
• Disclosure Compliance: Where platform rules, advertising regulations, or editorial standards require you to label or disclose AI-generated content, you remain solely responsible for making that disclosure.

3. Accounts, Verification, and Credits

• You must provide an accurate email address and complete email verification before spending credits.
• New accounts receive 10 free trial credits (good for 1 standard photo at 10 credits per photo), valid for 7 days after email verification.
• Standard image processing costs 10 credits per photo. If a task fails due to a model error, timeout, or automated safety filter, the 10 credits are automatically refunded to your balance.

4. Your Content and Rights

• Your Rights: You retain all ownership rights to the original images you upload and the refined output images you generate through HumanizePhoto.
• Required Authorization: You represent and warrant that you own or hold all necessary rights, licenses, and consents for every image you upload, and that your uploads comply with our Content Policy.
• Limited Processing License: You grant HumanizePhoto a temporary, limited license to store your uploaded image and transmit it to our inference provider (Replicate) solely to fulfill your processing request and display your result in My Works for up to 24 hours. We never use your images to train AI models or display them in public galleries.

5. Temporary Storage (24-Hour Retention)

HumanizePhoto is a processing tool, not a cloud photo archive. Uploaded input images and generated output images are retained for 1 day (24 hours) and then automatically deleted from storage. You are responsible for downloading any results you wish to keep before the 24-hour window expires.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Upload content that violates our Content Policy (including any imagery of minors, nudity or sexually explicit material, non-consensual photos of real individuals, or deceptive/impersonation material).
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse free trial credits through disposable accounts, or reverse-engineer our APIs.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Generative image refinement is probabilistic. While our prompt and pipeline are designed to preserve facial identity, clothing, product geometry, and visible text, subtle variations can occur. You should inspect every result using the before-and-after comparison slider before downloading or publishing. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim.
